Mark Lisagor, DDS

Mark Lisagor, DDS

Honored as Camarillo's "Man of the Year" in 1996, Dr. Mark Lisagor is an enthusiastic traveler. Combining his love of travel with a strong desire to serve, he has helped to provide needed dental care for children in many parts of the world, including Vietnam, Israel and Guatemala. He is an active fund-raiser for the Boys and Girls Club and other organizations benefiting the youth of the community, and is an active supporter of his beloved UCLA.

He received his dental degree from UCLA and board certification in pediatric dentistry after completing his residency at UCLA Harbor General Hospital. He is the past president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentists and the American Society of Dentistry for Children in Southern California.

Dr. Mark and his wife, Terri, have a son, Adam, and a daughter, Kimberly, and have lived in Ventura County since 1977.

Lynn Wan, DDS

Lynn Wan, DDS

Dr. Wan Lynn likes spending her time at Space Station Oxnard and Camarillo. She received her dental training at UC San Francisco and specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA. After completing a teaching fellowship in 1988, she returned home to Ventura County, where she enjoys her work and loves her patients.

An avid animal lover, Dr. Lynn usually has a cat or dog around. She dabbles at gardening and cooking, loves to travel and is always ready to try new hobbies and activities.

Betsy Kaplan, DMD

Betsy Kaplan, DMD

When she isn't flying kites at the beach, or at home finger-painting with daughters Hannah and Alex, Dr. Betsy Kaplan spends her time at our Space Stations in Oxnard and Camarillo.

Dr. Betsy received her bachelor's degree from Boston University, and her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Beach, she practiced General Dentistry for two years before completing her training in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA.

In her spare time, Dr. Betsy volunteers for the Special Olympics and teaches elementary school children about good dental care

Vincent Smith, DDS

Vincent Smith, DDS

Orthodontist Vincent Smith graduated from UCLA in 1970, continuing on to receive his degree in dentistry. Following seven years of general dentistry practice in Santa Barbara, he returned to UCLA and obtained a specialty degree in orthodontics.

With Children's Dental group since 1986, Dr. Vincent Smith works in both the Camarillo and Simi Space Stations. Dr. Vincent and his wife, Carey, live in Camarillo where they enjoy golf, biking and snow skiing.

Shamala Pizza, DMD

Shamala Pizza, DMD

Her hands paint in watercolor. With ink, she styles in calligraphy, and Dr. Shamala Pizza is an artist at shaping beautiful smiles. Joining Dr. Smith, she makes orthodontic care a pleasant, positive experience for our patients.

After receiving her dental degree at Temple University Dental School, Dr. Pizza completed an orthodontic post-graduate program at UCLA, where she served as chief resident. She and her husband and fellow dentist, Matt, are happy as parents to their son, Mark. Dr. Pizza works in the community as an active volunteer with the National Charity League, Juniors.

Peter Galgano, DDS

Peter Galgano, DDS

When not zooming off to faraway places with his wife Stephanie, Dr. Peter Galgano provides expert orthodontic care to our young patients who visit Simi Space Station. Before his interstellar adventures brought him aboard as the newest member of our "flight crew", he practiced orthodontics for eighteen years in the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Galgano received his dental education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, and completed his specialized training in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Horton, DDS

Dr. Jennifer Horton commands the elite interplanetary orthodontic squadrons at our Camarillo and Simi Valley space stations, and is held in high esteem by her galactic colleagues, earned a dental degree from USC, a specialty degree in orthodontics from St. Louis University, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. When off-duty, Dr. Horton volunteers in the community, enjoys playing tennis, reading, and painting, or retreating to more relaxing corners of Planet Earth, like the beach or the family ranch in Somis, with her husband Ryan and daughter Annika.
